 
Dr. Azpiroz grew up in Southern Oregon and graduated with honors from the University of Oregon. Selected as a National Hispanic Scholar, Dr. Azpiroz received his
Doctor of Optometry Degree from Pacific University.

He was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship by the U.S. Air Force and served four years as an Air Force Optometrist, stationed at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City. Before leaving the military in 1997 he received the Air Force Commendation Medal, in part for establishing a specialty clinic to manage corneal dystrophies, and for treating victims of the Federal Building bombing in Oklahoma City.
Once in private practice, Dr. Azpiroz served as an FDA investigator
for the Implantable Miniature Telescope (IMT™) ,an innovative new
device for the treatment of macular degeneration. Dr. Azpiroz
provides comprehensive medical eye and vision care, contact lens
services and has a special interest in low vision treatment.
He and his wife Darla enjoy sports, (especially Duck football), gardening and spending time in the outdoors with their dogs.
Dr. Azpiroz and his staff are dedicated to providing their patients with quality care at a reasonable price. His office is conveniently located with free parking.
